Dushehra is the 10 the day of navratri. On this day Goddess Durga's clay image is immersed in the holy river. This day marks the victory of Lord Rama over the demon king Ravana.Twenty days after Dusehra comes the Amavasya, the day deewali is celebrated. These two are called festivals which call for holidays.Ramadan does not occur in the exact twelve month period. But whenever it begins it goes for a month during which Muslims observe austerity and norms. One of the most important is fasting for the day till the sunset. They eat only after the evening prayer and begin fast from dawn to dusk.During this period they don't even drink water. At the conclusion of this there comes the festival of Eid.
