Sorry not sure what the question is! You can re-do the space after you clean it out, if you have an idea for something that is only 5 feet high. Other than that you will need to dormer the roof or raise same for more space. As to selling (?) items. Yes you can. Garage sale, yard sale, consignment store, on-line auctions. This would also be my answer to your previous post!

Sounds like a fun project. Have a garage sale. I think I'd only bring manageable amounts of stuff down at a time to sell. Then you have to decide what to do with it if it doesn't sell. You don't want to haul it back in. Have a sale; I'd like to come.

Empty out that fire trap. If you don't, you won't need to be worrying about what to do with the space.

Spontaneous combustion is what I'm talking about. You said it was packed with stuff from end to end.

CUT A HOLE FOR A DORMER AND TAKE IT OUT THAT WAY. JUST GO TO YOUR LOCAL RENTAL EQUIPMENT PLACE AND RENT A RETRACTABLE SCAFFOLDING FOR A DAY TO GET THE STUFF OUT OF THE ATTIC. THEN HAVE ONE HELL OF A GARAGE SALE TO PAY FOR YOUR DORMER MATERIALS.

if you have a window in the attic, attach one of those debris tubes and throw everything out through the window onto the yard.
