I have a almost 5 year old daughter who has slept in my wife and my bed for most of her life. Now we are moving her to her own bed, but she is not transitioning well. She fights us up and down and makes up stories of monsters in her room just to get back into our bed.

We also have a 8 month old who is sleeping in her own crib from the start. The two girls share a room, so when the oldest crys and throws a fit, she wakes up the baby.

Any seasoned parents who have gone through anything similar? My wife and I learned the hard way not to have the baby stay in the bed past the first few months, but we have our hands full with our oldest.

Thanks!

When you think about how many Australian backpackers there are relative to the population of Australia, you would think that there would be far more Americans than Aussies since the population of the US is 15x Australia’s, but Australians seem to be far more common.

Is there something in Australian culture that makes people want to travel? And conversely is there something in American culture that keeps people from traveling?

I just finished read The Kite Runner and found question that I can't answer on website. If you have a I dia for this question, let me hear it :)

"As Amir remembers an Afghan celebration in which a sheep must be sacrificed, he talks about seeing the sheep's eyes moments before its death. "I don't know why I watch this yearly ritual in our backyard; my nightmares persist long after the bloodstains on the grass have faded. But I always watch, I watch because of that look of acceptance in the animal's eyes. Absurdly, I imagine the animal understands. I imagine the animal sees that its imminent demise is for a higher purpose." Why do you think Amir recalls this memory when he witnesses Hassan's tragedy in the alleyway? "

I met a girl at school, dated her for the past year. She moved to Chicago for me, and now we live together. It's my apartment, but she lives here and pays half the rent (I could not afford it on my own). She's great, we get along well, but I feel like I'm missing out on something.

I started dating another girl the same time I met the girl I'm with now, and nothing came of it, other than a good friendship. I think I'm in love with her, or maybe I'm just infatuated, but I cannot stop thinking about the other girl and how I should be with her, even though she currently lives out of state.

I think I'm just not ready to be serious, but now I feel like I'm stuck in a relationship and living situation that probably isn't the right one. Even though my girlfriend treats me amazing and there are no problems, I cannot get over the other girl.

Help! What should I do?

There`s a little churchyard, just along the way,
used to be a land of (something) mystery,
of tombstones everywhere, wreaths, flowers & all that jazz,
till the war came along & someone droped a bomb, on the lot.
... "Selfish B#######s"....,
Now in this little churchyard there`s a little old man,
with a little shovel in his nail bitten hand,
he seams to spend all his days ,
burning fags & digging graves,.
he hates the roman vicar,& he lives all alone,in his home ,

Dont worry mr G.D.,cause i dont care,
if you`ve found a golden locket in some girls hair,
& you`ve put it in your pocket,
her mother wont know about her sentimental joy,
she`ll think its down below with the rest of her toys,
& ma would not understand, so i wont tell,
you can keep that golden locket,
all safley hide away in your pocket.

So folks, whats the actual name of the song & off what album? .... All the best Tkni ....

(I havent heard this tune for over 22 years )...GOOD LUCK
