is there a rock polishing compound that i dont have to order? would something natural work?

a Polishing compound has to have minerals that are harder that the surface that it polishes. Commonly they have pumice, Aluminum Oxide or SiCa. And I thinks this three minerals are harder than your rock. So, any polishing compound will surely do.

Sand
diffrerat grades from play sand to polishing. local hobby stores or home depot

i tried sand and it worked pretty good
