I believe jesus taught reincarnation to his closest deciples. I have had experiences that prove to me tha i lived before i had this body and will live after it is gone.See matthew 11;14,and if ye receive it this was Elias which was for to come. He was speaking of John the baptist being Elias reincarnated. There are other such scripture. Most references were deleted by King constanoble when the bible was compiled in 365 AD Also deleting information about Jesus and hindu meditation.

As far as I know religion deals with God and God alone. Religion would consider God as a destination to reach and how to reach. That is about it.
Regression or progreesion relates to individual`s personal experiences . These experiences touch the core of life , called the soul, which takes different bodies to dwell. Just because soul is involved the religion considers it to fall in its domain and one religion will oppose it and the other welcome it.
I have read that there have been regression experiences where the subject could go back as far as Jesus times and such persons vividly describe even the Jesus and the cross episode. Do you think that religion will accept this without their censorship?

Apparantly, the religion of "Buddism" adheres to the doctrine that when we die we are reborn, so you can't say ALL religions can't explain it.
