Yeah but if they trade VC they could finally get that great power forward they have been missing. Richard Jefferson is more than capable of making up for any scoring loss

Nah, they should just keep him. I don't think much teams are going to want him cause he's getting older and has such a high salary. The Nets should keep V.C. and is one of the main reasons for their playoff positions. V.C is one of their main focal points and really compliments Kidd. So no, they shouldn't trade him. What they should do is getting a better player at PF position. Right now their PG is good (Kidd), SG (V.C.), SF is good (Richard Jefferson), and C (Nenad Kristic). They need to get a better PF than Boone quickly cause Kidd is getting old fast.

Vince Carter should just stay with New Jersey Nets because he said he having much fun since basketball is most for the fun not like Toronto Raptors who say you must alway win.

Vince Carter gives them there best chance to make the playoffs, so no they shouldn't. There team is solid w/ Jefferson and Kidd so if the team does make the playoffs and looks good, Carter could resign.

i dont think they should. they wouldnt be able to handle the heat or pistons without him. they need to try and get a center or some bench players
