My son is going to ask his girlfriend to marry him. He is 37, she is 42 with four kids (two teenagers, and two older). He wants to do it in a romantic way, without crowds and family around. Neither of them drink so Champagne is out. Any ideas?

I recieved a speeding ticket for inadvertantly going 43mph in a 25mph zone. The flow of traffic was similar and I was simply attempting to pass the adjacent car in order to go on my right lane and turn at the upcoming light.

I drive through the area daily and knew that my usual route was detoured due to construction. I took a different route (Broadway) and ended up getting stopped 1/2 a block from my destination.

The officer has written "780 Broadway" and I had NOT driven through that area. In fact, I had turned onto Broadway in the 730-740 area and was stopped around 575-585 Broadway. 4 Blocks away from where i had turned, and 5 blocks away from "the location of the offense"

Would I be able to dispute this fact in court?

I have depression and it just gets worse, the cause of my depression is a long winded 5 years of hell and im not going to go into that but i cannot move on from what has happened untill i have answers from my dad. He messed up my whole families lifes. He used to be such a family man and now hes totally changed and we dont have any contact at all. I dreaded my 18th birthday, and now im dreading christmas, i have panic attacks and dont sleep (i have insomnia but this always gets worse with stress)
Any suggestions?

I have an upcoming montreal trip planned from vermont. I know my way there from riding with friends but I am now going alone. I would like to know what affordable hotel is the easiest to drive to. In the city. Driving in city traffic kindof freaks me out. But I want to be walking distance to the hot spots... any suggestions to good night clubs? I've been to Dome and to sir winston churchills pub. Someting that plays hip hop music would be terrific.

It is a misdomeaner offense and It did not happen at work nor have I ever done it at work or came to work that way. My job performance is never an issue. I'm a fast food assistant mananger. Our 6 month old kitten has had a recurrent problem with pooping on our dining room carpet. He started out using the litter box but then began to use the plants, then the dining room floor. I have researched, talked to vets, etc etc and don't know what to do. We did finally put newspapers down with red pepper on them and that stopped him until I picked them up after a couple of months. Now he is doing it again. I don't think he's doing this to be mean. He just seems to like this area and of course now it is marked by that scent. I can't replace my carpets and I don't want to give him away but I have to stop this. Any ideas?

I'm a Christian but i admit that i believe in karma
(as we all know that it started from Budhism).
Active Christians says that there's no such thing
as karma, instead, they say that people get the
consequences on every action they do.
For example, you steal something, then you'll get
caught by cop coz of that...and not something like
you'll experience the same thing or something bad
will happen...
For some reason, i dunno, I still believe that
whatever you do (good or bad), it goes back to
you in three folds.
If someone did something mean or evil to you,
what would be this "consequence" (as what other
Christians say) , when the world doesn't know
that person's true color? you get what I mean?
And so sometimes it automatically runs my mind
that that person will just get a karma...
