I'm a Christian but i admit that i believe in karma
(as we all know that it started from Budhism).
Active Christians says that there's no such thing
as karma, instead, they say that people get the
consequences on every action they do.
For example, you steal something, then you'll get
caught by cop coz of that...and not something like
you'll experience the same thing or something bad
will happen...
For some reason, i dunno, I still believe that
whatever you do (good or bad), it goes back to
you in three folds.
If someone did something mean or evil to you,
what would be this "consequence" (as what other
Christians say) , when the world doesn't know
that person's true color? you get what I mean?
And so sometimes it automatically runs my mind
that that person will just get a karma...

I believe fully in Karma. In the end what Christians believe, that God will punish or reward them, Heaven or Hell, comes down to the same theory.
I even believed in Karma before I knew it existed.
When I was a child and someone in school was mean to me, I would not do anything, and I noticed that something bad would always happen to them.
Once a girl spread a nasty rumour about me, and another girl, who disliked her very much actually came and asked my permission to shout and embarress this girl in front of everyone at lunch break on my behalf.

Karma is seen by quite a few as a bad thing.

In fact Karma is neither good nor bad, karma just is what it is, cause and effect.

Past lifetime energy can create a mirroring effect of similar energy into the present life time and similar energy people are also attracted to this energy. It is karmic energy. Each person attacted into this field have lessons to learn from or to deliver. When that person has completed their (spiritual) assignment a situation creates and one departs on.

Some people believe we get paid back severly and suggest that they ran over 50 chinamen in their last life and now they are copping it big time. The thing is, is to not engage in what does not serve your higher purpose, or the karmic wheel just keeps on spinning until you do. This is why people become desperate and seek solace in religion in the hope this will stop. But it does not. Karma does not judge, it just does what karma does.

Once we understand we are not at the mirth of this pattern and decide to take stock of it, we learn meditation and going within to do the inner work on self. Going within means not going without.

What we see, believe and think, becomes a manifestation which some see as karma. They created this by focussing on the thought passionately enough to bring it about. Thank heavens our positive thoughts are a million times more stronger in manifestation energy than our negative ones. Phew!

So with that to stop karma as we perceive to be negative, we need to re create how we see things.

Believe it first then you will see it. Like faith. We must have faith in something we can not see. However we can feel. And we feel deeply with emotions and this is where we create stuff. Then we call it good or bad karma. Karma is just cause and effect nothing more.

Past life energy presents...but one does not repeat the same movie twice. One does actually learn.....we just dont see whats inside everyones suitcase...and at that....who would want to when we have our own to empty and re pack. Preferably repacking with unconditional love for self and humanity.

love, light n laughter!

When you gave the Christian explanation above, you realize that they are explaining exactly what karma is! The way to get out of the cause-and-effect argument is to just think of it the way that I do...karma is more than just the consequences of actions - karma is that you perpetuate the consequences. You can take action out of the whole explanation. It's a sense of wellness, happiness, morality that will cause these same feelings to be perpetuated TOWARDS you. So it's more of a way of life than a consequence to something you did. Want a good guide? Depak Chopra - he's got well written, easy to read books, and is quite the teacher.

I WANT to believe in karma, I always try to do unto others. But I've seen a lot of evil people enjoy great success and seem to be very happy so that makes me wonder. Maybe karma will happen later fot them, unless they somehow redeem themselves.
However, any so-called Christian that says "everything happens for a reason" is very wrong. The Bible says God gave us our own free will. It is up to us to earn our way into heaven, and we will then be judged. There is no pre-ordained plan by God. And even though we are all sinners, we can repent and know true humility and remorse, and be forgiven. And we can pray to be led "not into temptation" and always try to do our best.

As you sow, so shall you reap. Same thing, different wording. Except karma says you'll come back as a snake, or such. When we die, we either go to be with God, or the alternative. No coming back. That is until Jesus returns and we all come back for the final judgment.

I completely believe in it.

For example, a lady who hurt my feelings and belittled me at work for almost 4 years has been having ongoing health problems for the past 2, just had a mini-stroke, is in the hospital for weeks and then has to get a hysterectomy. She is 72. I am 20, so obviously she has been bothering me since I was 16. And what's worse is she totally denies it. Except one time she was confronted by my boss about it and when she tried to say "I deny that" she couldnt utter the words! Talk about God's will!

Don't get me wrong, I feel bad for her, even though she said I was incapable of having emotions.

I believe in Karma. What ever wrong you have done to someone, will come back to you worse than what you did originally.
For get what your christian friends think.

I believe there is Karma both good & bad.
And you'll get what you put out. If your good then good karma will follow & the same for bad.

yes i believe in karma and for us wiccans we have to believe in that.because the universe sends out what we send out to them.also there is a thing called chakra.and it is sorta the same thing though but through a different prospective.karma is truthfully used in witchcraft and in the religion wicca.we have to watch what we send out to the universe.ever hear of this quotation?an "it harm none,do as ye will."that you can do what ever you like as long as it doesnt harm none.
