I will chime in - the man rocks! He is stable, articulate, intelligent, grounded with integrity and everything this country needs. He has the morality that the Republicans have claimed yet never displayed. I would vote for him in a New York minuet!

Very little experience. Not really electable. His image started off as something new and fresh, but has been seen lately as a lot more to the left than what it would take to be elected as President in a country where the moderates are usually the part of the populous that makes or breaks a Presidential candidate.

Chime...

I think Obama would make a wonderful president, much better than Hilary. We need to stop that before it happens...

Too young? 36 by law, so in 9 years, my happy **** will be running. Obama would be good, but this country is too set in its ways, and the rich white elite who run the USG wouldn't vote for him...yet. I'd love to see Pre. Obama, but the situation is what it is. He has a good head on his shoulders, he is a great speaker, and can see BOTH sides of an argument. Sounds perfect...for the citizens. As the citizens matter very little in the US, especially the USG, then he will obviously lose.

Yes, Obama for president! A consensus building progressive with vision, energy and principles, America needs him. Although there are those in denial, America is in crisis, and we need the character and attributes of this man to preserve our traditional and more lofty values.
To the naysayers, my god, we don't need a change in morality and direction? You are satisfied to see administrations short change and short change, again, our citizenry? At least pursue the issues and the facts before going into lock down mode.

How can anyone logically and intelligently 'chime in' unless they knew who he was running against. Blind faith and pursuit is dangerous. I tend to like some of his ideas, but doubt he would withstand serious contention.

YES!!!!!!! I think he has exactly what it takes to bring this country back to where it needs to be.
OBama is responsible, rational, well-educated, compassionate, strong, and can withstand the pressures of corruption.
I believe he will not give in to others if it goes against what is good and right for America, and he will stand firm in his beliefs.
He has a vision for a stabe future for our country, and it is about time we have a good viable candidate.
P.S. Please dont let me hear anymore about the race issue. The current situation our country is in should be a lesson to all of us that color of skin is irrelevant.

Not so sure he is strong enough to withstand the D.C. games,
or maintain his ideals once in Office..but I do think hes a good choice to consider

Not enough experience and senators make bad Presidents. He'd need to run for governor first.

I doubt it.
Obama is smart, articulate, has integrity, is a moderate, believes in building consensus, defends the poor and the middle class...
Bush is not very smart, certainly not articulate, lies through his teeth, he is a radical neo con, is a divider, defends the wealthy...
Bush got elected twice (although first time was iffy), so I assume Americans won't like to have someone who's the total opposite...
