I am a bit sad and also confused. This girl I asked out rejected me. I try now not to make eye contact with her or talk to her whenever we cross paths but she makes eye contact all the time. Please help me explain this behavior of hers. :-)

They want to die. So killing them is not a deterent. I am thinking old style chaingangs might be a good method of getting the point across. Chain them together and make them clean the streets. Issue cattle prods to the guards.

i went to the doctor today and they were a little shocked to see i had high blood pressure. i am 23 years old and 130 lbs. they said it could be nothing but wanted to wait until my annual physical before they start worrying. (which is 1 month away). Should i begin to worry?

My wife is considering exclusively pumping to make sure our baby gets enought to drink/eat..becasue she constantly falls asleep on her breast. The lack of knowledge if she is getting enough food is also stressing my wife bigtime. Any suggestions? The baby seems to drink better with a bottle. We use advent newborn size 1 nipple.

Two bored casino dealers were waiting at a craps table. A very beautiful blonde woman arrived and bet twenty thousand dollars on a single roll of the dice.

If you child is teething, what is an acceptable fever? I know that they have low-grade fevers as a common symptom of teething. What is considered low-grade? Seems like our day care sends our kid home a lot for running fevers and I think it's probably just him teething since we see other symptoms (finger in mouth, slightly runny nose, red cheeks...).

I've heard that the 8-speed hub can hold a 9 speed cassette as well. Would that mean that all I need to do to changeover my bike to be a 27-speed from a 24-speed is: (1) replace the cassette, (2) replace the chain, (3) replace the shifters??

Seems too simple. What am I missing?

i am travelling to ireland (not sure if its southern or northern yet!) and i have looked up if i need a passport, apparently as long as i have a photo id such as driving licence and proof of british citizen ship i am confused as i thought the driving licence proved i am british! I know this doesn't really have anything to do with parenting/pregnancy, but I figured alot of people in this section might know. Has anyone seen the commercial for Rice Krispies with the little kids eating cereal with their moms? In the background, it's the song "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" but it's a different version of it. It's somebody "ooooh-ing" and it's kind of slow. Does anyone know who sings that version of it? It's a really beautiful verson of it and I'd like to have it. Thanks.

Either a commercial preparation, or does anybody have a good recipe?

The wet cat food in pouches -- regardless of brand -- is only partially enjoyed; the 'gravy' eagerly lapped up, but the meat tends to go somewhat ignored. (Not so with more mushy varieties in tins, but we even finick about that sometimes.) So...

Suggestions for a good brand that could be found at pet stores in Canada appreciated. I know I've seen the stuff for dogs, but have yet to find any made for cats. If you have a recipe, please include the source, and your comments on it.
