My boyfriend's dad has just been told he has prostate cancer. My boyfriend's parents hate doctors and medicine and think they are all evil and will just end up killing him in the end, they love naturopaths etc etc and are hoping that eating certain vegies and foods will make him better. I come from a family that goes to the doctor for a prescription at the tiniest cold symptom, so this is really hard for me to accept. my mum works in a hospital so we really believe doctors and medicine are the real cures for everything. I have been looking through mum's medical books and they all say the only cure is operations, laser treatment, medicine etc etc. they say if it isn't treated properly it causes death. I have tried talking to his parents but they won't listen. what can i do? I love him so much and want him to be around to be a grandpa for our children! but i feel if he doesn't seek proper medical advice he will die.has anyone had experience with cancer and natural medicine?please help!!

Over the past week I have had this horrid feeling of sadness. I am not taking any medication, am sleeping perfectly and as far as I am aware, I have no reason to feel sad about.

I have completely lost interest in my hobbies/interests and really don't feel like going out at the moment. Just feel like some time alone.

I have no idea why I feel like this and almost everything in my life could be perfect. But at the moment its really bugging me!

I am meant to be going on a mad adventure in Wales this weekend which I have been looking forward to for a while now and I know that if I went when i'm feeling normal I would absolutely love it, but at the moment, I just don't feel like going...

This loss in enthusiasum is really annoying me and I just can't shake it.
Any Suggestions?

and now, things are getting worse. I meditated on this last night after she left my home talking to me, and I know beyond equivocation that she is full of more bullshit than a Christmas turkey is stuffing. However, she has her mother so worried that she is now seeking a witchdoctor to "help" her. These clearly are marks made by a razor blade, all over her face, arms and neck...all places she can easily reach.

Why do people cut themselves? What spiritual void are they trying to fill? What are they trying to fill? This kid has a lot of stuff going on in her life, and I am certain her current state of affairs has something to do with this. It seems she wants attention, but why the hell would anyone slice themselves up to get that?

Theres This guy I really really really like. I am wondering if he likes me. I am to shy to ask but I think there are some signs there but I don't know if its just me wanting him so much. These are the things that I have noticed.
-We spend lots of time together(never use to)
-He has brought me flowers(for no reason)
-I will go over to his house to watch a movie and he will sit right next to me but he leans towards me.
-He touches me a lot when he is talking like on the arm or back
-He has come up behind me and started giving me a massage on my back for no reason
-He looks into my eyes a lot

I don't know if these are signs that he likes me or if I'm just kidding myself??????
