who needs beckham, if your going to go for past players, you might as well go for the best, banks, charlton ect

The problems in the England football team go back to before the world cup. They only got as far as they did because of soft refereeing. I believe they should not be paid to be members of the team, nor should the coach be paid. They should all be volunteers.
It seems to me that politics has far to much influence in determining the selection of players.
By all means rush the guy back in, it won't make any difference, unless they get rid of Beckham and a whole lot of the others.
In fact, the players should be charged to play for the team. Then we'd know they actually want to win.

altho i loved beckhams era i dont think we should turn back the clock the future is bright the future is Englands.

i dont think its the goalkeeper we have got to worry about..but lineker and shearer are looking fit...get rid of the little and large show...and the manager while your at it
