to swim, some punk teenager had a shirt on that said "Kill 'em all and let God sort 'em out," with a big skull on the shirt wearing a green beret. I tried really hard not to say anything, but when he walked by I finally said "So who are we supposed to kill," and he mumbled "It's just a shirt" and shuffled off. A couple of minutes later, he was pointing at me and laughing and joking about it with his buddies, who appeared to be the local football team, so I walked by and said very loudly "Get rid of the shirt. You're pathetic. You're sad." He and his football buddies just sat there and glared at me, so I flipped them off and walked away. Is what I did wrong?

Mine is that I sat in the car Elvis Presley drove in the film Spinout (the white one with 51 on the side). I was 5 years old and we went to an Elvis museum in Florida. My dad lifted me over the red barrier, put me in the car and took a few photos of me with my mickey mouse teddy. He got in soooo much trouble for it

I was once friends with a goth. Her name was Heather. The last time ive spoken to her was several months ago before she moved away. I just thought that its ironic to find a black guy who grew up in a black neghborhood becoming friends with a goth white girl. we were real kool though.

Do near death experiences (NDE's) contribute to the positive evidence? As a companion question, why don't human beings savor each moment of life? It often seems that most people only live for future events, but don't appreciate each moment as it comes.

In Iraq, quite possibly at the moment I'm writing this, people are being tortured with electric drills and skinned alive. Would you want there to be a god who thought it was a good thing to let that happen, and not intervene? Countless other atrocities are and have been perpetrated in this world. A god would have to be sickeningly callous and uncaring at best, and unspeakably evil at worst, to preside over such a world with all its horror and suffering. I just despair that people are foolish enough to believe in the existence of a god, let alone to praise and worship what would clearly have to be a monster in any decent person's judgment. It does not reflect at all well on the character of religious believers. We should all be grateful that gods are nothing more than a human fiction.
