I just got a new laptop yesterday - a T42 thinkpad with XP spack2...under the mouse settings, i could not find the option where i can do the mouse settings so that the single click acts as double click..(You see the hand instead of arrow when pointed to any folder or application)...please guide/tell me the steps for the same

Hi..

There is no mouse settings to make double click to single click.

There is an option in "Folder options" to use one click to open items.

Here is how it goes...

1. GOTO Control Panel
2. Folder Options.
3. General Tab
4. Under Click Items as follows change the setting as you want it
to be....
or

1. GOTO Explorer window
2. Tools Menu
3. Folder Options.
4. General Tab
5. Under Click Items as follows change the setting as you want it
to be....
