People don't appreciate each moment as it comes because most or so great at taking things for granted - all they want to do is look forward to the next thing to happen instead of appreciating what is in front of them right now. As for life after death, I wholly believe there is because God made a promise to all believers in the Bible stating that whoever believes in him won't perish but have everlasting life in Heaven, and I can't speak for anyone else but that's all the proof I need.

I believe in the continued existence after corporeal death, but not the way most people of faith do.
Whether you want to admit it or not, there has been documented proof for some time that a small amount of energy leaves the body at death; I won't be so presumptuous as to label it, but others have in history.
As to the validity of the claim, anyone can debunk it if they try hard enough. People are always willing to ignore the facts (see 9/11 conspiracy buffs), and this is not different. I won't be pressured into defending my claim: all you need to do is Google for the medical statements regarding this.
That being said, I do not believe in what most religions would call an afterlife, simply because it makes no sense. Yes, part of you will live on - energy cannot be destroyed, only converted - but I doubt you will be aware in the same manner you are now. If you can take comfort in knowing part of you will be around forever, then you should also be ready to accept that all your Earthly baggage (memories, good and bad) will probably not make the trip.
As to why we don't 'live in the now', that's easy: we've beentold all our live that what's happening now matters as much or more than when we're gone. We've been conditioned to think that we have some great role to play, that our participation the the Game of Life is required. Did God create money? Jobs? Unemployment? No. We did, in an effort to make sense out of that which we could not define.
Even time is a human invention, since God didn't really work on a schedule that included "days". We put that in there. Think about it.
But it's sad that we don't do our best with the time we have here. Things could be, well, better if we did. It's not going to happen, though. We need to feel better than the person down the street, either because we think our race/creed/gender makes us superior, or that we managed to get the latest stereo equipment before the rest of the block. Pitiful.
I'm no tree-hugging hippie, but rampant consumerism is partly responsible for distracting us from real problems and real solutions.
That's it.

Near death experience does give a very good opportunity to look deeper, but the fear and memory discourages.
Instead, look at the fact that even death has not been conclusively defined by scientists, doctors, despite working at it tirelessly ! This itself should provide some logical ground to explore further.
And that appreciation of each moment, though it is simple, by no means easy , with the memory, and uncertain future occupying the focus of the mind successively !

Your journey besides as countless others is precisely why technological expertise can't say a be conscious about it. Your journey like the others is spontaneous. maximum do no longer have that type of journey at the same time as a small percentage like your self do. technological expertise works perfect in a laboratory. because you will be able to attempt and get effects. and then reveiw the testing technique and retest the topic back. yet your spontaneous journey shows how unreliable it is for technological expertise to attempt to get a repeatable journey for there is no assure the topic will journey a similar journey interior of a similar way. it isn't the fault of you or the fault of technological expertise and must have regulations on what's testable and consequently veriviable and what's no longer. As for declaring it is a demonic journey in difficulty-free words you comprehend for particular what you said and what you realized about what your non secular journey truly replaced into. i believe you're staggering for the devil himself is defined "as an angel of sunshine" in 2 Chorinthians 11:14. the finished subject with categorizing this journey right into a non secular attitude is that it supplies the unbeliever a reason now to not believe it in any respect. And consequently they decide on now to not hunt if guy is more advantageous than in basic terms his actual body and what he senses mutually with his body or thinks mutually with his recommendations. The non secular deminsion speaks to this project. notwithstanding the unbeliever chooses now to not flow there. he's satified with being only a actual being. The section that would want to open the door to such question is what you raised in the after put up about "listening to your husband in the subsequent room speaking about a beer distillery at the same time as you've been in the subsequent room" and subconscious. And it is verified with medical units and medical doctors round you. it is no longer a twist of destiny. you would possibly want to imagine an open recommendations might want to think about such issues. And comprehend that your journey isn't the in difficulty-free words one yet there are countless. Be that because it would want to. thanks back for sharing it.

If you assume that there is a possibility that all soulds\spirits are eternal then there is a case for an afterlife or life after death...a transcending...a metamorphosis...if you think about it our life on earth is nothing or should i say it has a sense of meaninglessness...it could be a test....no proof

You said it yourself "Most people only live for future events."
Don't worry about the afterlife. It will be here all too soon. And you'll find out the answer to your question then.

No one alive can offer "PROOF"
Proof would be a TRUTH, in this case,,, a Belief,,, not FACT.
