I was once friends with a goth. Her name was Heather. The last time ive spoken to her was several months ago before she moved away. I just thought that its ironic to find a black guy who grew up in a black neghborhood becoming friends with a goth white girl. we were real kool though.

Absolutely not. It's great that you move beyond your enviornment to make friends. Hell, you might even want to be goth someday yourself...it is possible. My friend Todd is a mid-twenties Black guy who likes the goth scene and techno music, and he is the nicest guy in the world.

I like it, if more of us liked someone for who they are and not what they are. We would all be better off. I'm white , my best friend is black and we could care less what people think. Not only that but his wife is white and mine is black.
You can see that we say it doesn't matter what a person is. It's who they are inside.

it doesnt matter race, what you listen to or watch.. who cares what you look like. its normal! :) dont look to deep into it. as long as you two are cool.. then it doenst matter if your black and she is goth! :) you just have a mixed variety of friends. SMILE! :)
