My elderly neighbour is in her late 70’s and she has already had a hip operation. She has one son, who, like her, is absolutely loaded with money. She doesn’t budge out of the house, as she is scared in case her hip ‘gives way’. She had a very poor experience in the NHS hospital when she had her hip done and now she needs the other hip done. I suggested she goes private, but she says, “I’m loyal to the surgeon and the NHS hospital”. Shall I just leave her be now? She really was treated badly in hospital previously.

He gets into a bar fight with about 2000 baddies or something, gets a good hoofing, doesn't bat an eyelid and proceeds to kick everyone's a*ss until there is one big stinking heap of mullered baddies.

This is evidence of the kind of superhardiness that gives us superheros a good name.

However, how often do you see him after the fight getting tended to by a buxotic bar maid type, and there he is WINCING whilst she is tending to his tiny facial cut

So, is he a man's man, or a big girl's blouse? you decide

A company has banned staff birthday cards in case they breach new age discrimination laws.

Insurer Alan & Thomas has circulated cards for its 36 staff to sign for many years.

Bosses fear the messages colleagues write in the cards referring to bus passes or being 'over the hill' could fall foul of the new laws.

Staff can now sue bosses if harassed or victimised due to their age, reports The Sun.

Managing director Julian Boughton said: "The new rules are a potential minefield. Messages can so easily be misinterpreted and we don't want to offend."

The insurer has decided that only "appropriate" cards signed by bosses will be sent out to staff.

They sound like a pack of old F arts!

How many of you are sitting in a job you hate.... or bored at home doing nothing.

Life is so short, why are we wasting it here instead of going out and experiencing the fantastic things the world has to offer.

Why should we be slaves to boredom.......

My current job is so bad, I am thinking of not handing in my notice, just going when I get offered a new job. My Contract has my old address on the front of it, as my boss said it was not worth putting my new address on it and re-printing it. Does this mean my Contract is void or does it not matter?

how do you discipline your teenage son/daughter whose on drugs, goes out everyday, steals from you, has bad grades, is into porn sex, wants to drop out of school etc...with all these controls on punishment we can't do anymore;
1- Can't give them a spanking anymore like our parents used to in the 60's.
2- Can't shout at them in public otherwise someone will call social services on you.
3- Can't withhold money from them, otherwise they could call social services and accuse you of 'sexually abusing them' or 'harrassing them'.
Ps: my eldest kid is 5 so not there yet, and hope never, but am just curious how parents are holding up with these kind of kids? any advice.

My wife says that Im suffocating her in all the attention that i give to her. I love to hug, kiss and spend all the time I can with her. She says that she needs space as well and I understand that but I can see her withdwraw when I hug her and try to show affection to her. She has been unfaithful to me and we are trying to work on the marriage. She says she wants to work on the marriage but I feel that she still has feeling for the last man she has been with. What are the major signs for me to look for to know that she is playing me for a fool.
