Don't you really think this is the kind of thing you should discuss with a doctor rather than asking a bunch of people you don't know over the Internet?

I'm not a doctor, but mom of 4 kids - One of my twins had VERY bowed legs from the time he walked up until the age of about 4. I was very concerned, he had a hard time running, he couldn't sit Indian style, and he tripped a lot. I was referred to an orthopedic surgeon who, after taking a lot of x-rays, told me my sons thigh bones were actually backwards. He said the best way to correct this problem was to point to my sons feet and gently remind him to keep his feet straight as he walked. He said the bones should adapt as they grew which would correct the problem. My son is now 10 yrs old and you can not tell he ever had bowed legs.

Speak to your pediatrician for a referral to a specialist. There are special shoes and braces for the legs that he could wear that would help to correct the problem. My aunt had a problem with that when she was younger. She wore leg braces for a few years and now you would never know by looking at her that she ever had a problem. It's best to do when then they're young; so I would recommend speaking with your pediatrician as soon as possible.

okay thiis happened to a friend of mine when he was a baby. put is shoes on the wrong feet, and very night gently massage his leg kinnda like shaping the bone the right way. I'm being honest it really works. not over night though, but you ill see a difference in a couple of months.

Talk to your pediatrician. It may be something that he outgrows (sometimes bowed legs in very young kids just mean that he will have long legs as an adult), or it may be something that needs intervention.

The best thing to do is take him to his pediatrition.. Sometimes, braces are recommended..and other times its just a matter of how your child is carried, or handled. Either way, seek professional opinion when it comes to your concerns about your childs' health!
