America speaks English, with only a slight change in dialect separating it from British English- Hell, there's more lingual diversity inside Finland- which only has a population of 5 million!
With the influx of Mexicans you have now the oppurtunity to break free and merge Spanish with English to create a new, American, language. So, instead of complaining about Mexicans not learning English well enough start making progress!
That way, when you are too up yourselves you can express it in your own language and foreigners wont be offended anymore... !

How long will it take for you girls to stop saying you want a guy who is funny, thoughtful, caring, adventerous, and all that crap and just admit you want what you leave out: a hot guy, well built, tall, a bit cocky, doesn't treat you right, has money, a nice car, nice clothes, nice place...I just see hot girls with these types of guys.... not nice, sincere, funny and the other things you say you "want".

compared to the south. and people say it in the south where there is a lot of racisim.and that is just not so. I do not get it. is it a left over from legal segragation. in the south/ This idea. that a lot of southerners are racist? they were honest about it. but in the north they just discriminated against blacks with out laws to back it up.It was many many years before they integrated the northern schools.after the south integrated.a black can not walk down a whire neighborhoods streets without geting beaten up. I never hear about that sort of thing going on in the south. I read about it all the time balcks getting beaten up. bu whites up north are killed..why this southern racist thing? the north had slaves also. they have blacks also now.
