here on yahoo! answers some one said that if you want to do ballet at 16 you would have to quit school and all that??? what??? is this rediculous or true? i really really want to do ballet and my confidence is really low. i am almost 16 and to have someone say you have to quit school if u want to do ballet is just bizzar! any answers?

I went on a blind date with a guy on friday, and he was nice and all, but there was no connection (at least on my part), and he just wasn't what I needed (see my question about date talking on the phone). He said during the date that he wanted to take me to an event the next day, and said he'd call me. When he called the next day, I said thanks but I was busy for the next few weeks, and that I'd call him if I wanted to hang out. To be honest, I don't plan on calling him. Should I call him and say so, or just not call and let things lie? I don't want him to keep calling, or wait by the phone for me to call because I don't plan on it, and I'm interested in someone else. Should I be up front with him, or just let it be?

for the company responsible for my accident to contact me re: settlement? They called me the day after, I called them back two days later with the information and now I'm waiting on them for an answer as to when I can bring them the information for them to make an offer. I don't live in the US so maybe I'm not understanding what's going on exactly. But I was under the impression that the US prided itself on being a free country, with fewer government 'entangelments' than others. Yet the federal government has the No Child Left Behind law and I just saw a news video of how, in some cities, *mayors* are taking control of school systems. (This would be seen as a complete abuse of power here, someone acting as benevolent dictator.) The NCLB site says that the law gives "More freedom for States and communities", but it's just propaganda, isn't it? If a single person (the mayor) can decide he's in charge of the schools in 'his' city and if the federal government is restricting funds because schools aren't meeting certain standards, how is this an expression of freedom? Or does 'more freedom' mean that mayors are actually free to do this? What about the freedom for the schools? What happened to "with liberty and justice for all"? Please enlighten me!

I'm 25 (almost 26) and have recently got into a new realtionship. My new Beat of a boyfriend is only 18.(ladies if you saw him, you'd understand)

We're both pretty much on the same wave-length as i'm not your typical 26yr old and he's at times pretty mature for 18.
To me age isn't a problem its the person that matters? However I think my family members are a little bit miffed on the situation, any comments??

Christians, where in the Bible does it state that a person must accept Jesus as their savior. I know that the bible states that the only way through heaven is him, but i am not sure where it says that you have to worship him. Is there a passage that specifically states you must worship him to go to heaven. Some people who worship Christ have told me that he died for everyone's sins, and no one goes to hell..
