for the company responsible for my accident to contact me re: settlement? They called me the day after, I called them back two days later with the information and now I'm waiting on them for an answer as to when I can bring them the information for them to make an offer. How long do I wait before going to a lawyer? Or should I go now? I've never been in this position before and so far I've paid $720 just for damages and injuries. Please, only serious answers, please.

We are in the middle of our Thanksgiving weekend so all businesses are closed for 3-4 days. There's literally nothing I can do until tomorrow after work.

Contact a Lawyer NOW!! It could take as long as two years to resolve financial/legal issues. Inform Doctors of employer liability, many will bill employer rather than you. You may end up in collections, refer to employer. Run, don't walk to an attorney! Insurance companies are NOT going to look out for your best interest, only their profit margin.Personal expirience talking here,

Contact a lawyer now, Not only will they be better able to handle the legal crap, people who use lawyers tend to get better settlements in the end. There are so many loop holes and such in laws, a lawyer can keep them from finding one..

Insurance companies are there to collect premiums and not pay out for injury's. Contact an attorney asap, to them your just a number. They know from experance that if they delay, frustrate, and ignore you they will pay less. Dont trust them!
