you have to make him notice obviously, gosh i am so tired of answering this question? come on im sure youcan think of something

If you want him to talk to you, just say HI and ask him an open ended question... people LOVE to talk about themself. Don't ask him how he's doing; that's an one worded answer. Compliment him on his shirt or the car he drives or something and follow up with an open ended question like how long he's has the car or what kind of car he'd love to have it money weren't an issue.
