they are still being driven, and newer cars that have a defective or non-existing catalytic converter will not pass the vehicle emmissions test and cannot be driven. It is even illegal to remove a catalytic converter, but..... These 1960 and early 1970 cars with no catalyic converter are STILL BEING DRIVEN!
How is this so?

Is there a free way to get my business registered on search engines?

I have an online business and would like to get it recognised by the large search engines, google, yahoo, etc.. How do I go about it, by myself, rather than paying someone huge amounts of cash before you know what they can do for you? MSN have it at no.4 yet the others don't want to know! Help please!

She keeps flirting with my Boyfriend!?

I've been w/ my boyfriend for 8mths. We have been through alot considering he is a widower w/ a 3yr old daughter (which I adore). We live in a town where everyone knows you and since we started dating there has been one "friendly" woman that won't stop flirting or making advances towards my BF (such as sitting on his lap at the bar, calling him, and being touchy feely) He asked her out before we got together and she blew him off twice now she wants him. I know he won't act on it but what bothers me is he won't interfere and tell her to back off either, which I think out of respect for my feelings and our relationship he should. I told him it's not his fault she calls or does any ot those things but if he doesn't handle it I will. He says I have nothing to worry about, but I know something similiar will happen again when we are at the bar and I'm scared I will go WFwrestling on her *** lol What is the best way to deal with this? Should I ignore it? Am I overreacting?

Can Pregnant women have teeth pulled?

I have a broken tooth on my uppper right side. It just recently started to cause alot of pain. To the point where I can't sleep and barely eat. I am 6 weeks pregnant and went to a dentist who said the tooth needs to be pulled but because of the tooth being broken like it is I have to go to an oral surgen. I have an appt tomorrow but I'm afraid he wont pull the tooth. Does anyone know if the dentist will pull the tooth even under local anestesia.

driving is NOT easy at all?
i find it very hard to control the engine and being aware of the road ahead of me. i will never give up but i feel that i don't learn anything after a few lessons.

what are your views on the concept of marriage,faithfullness and so on?

I dont have traditional beliefs...im a bit of a free spirit im not at all sure about the concept of 2 people expecting so much from each other for the duration of forever...by the way i am 36 and have actually been married twice and yes im now single for the last 2 years and during my second marriage this concept kind of slapped me in the face so please dont come on here telling me that i will feel better when i meet the man i want to spend the rest of my life with...and im not bitter either,im actually pretty content but i do wonder if we were able to take lovers and live separately when we chose and didnt have all these rules and expectations,etc if the concept of marriage might work a little better....

How can I have my newborn going to be 2 months old start sleeping in the night?

my baby girl loves to sleep in the day, I try to keep her up. Play with her etc but then she falls asleep. Then when its dinner time she is up all until midnight. Crying and Crying. It is likes she dont want me to put her down...I dont understand...then when I finally decide go to bed with her, she will fall alseep. Any suggestions??

Can being just a few lbs over weight make you have difficultly breathing?

I am just about 5-10 lbs over weight. I do have thyroid disease which is why I gained the weight in the first place and now that is controlled by medication and I have lost 25 lbs since I found out. I have gained a little back but not much because I just went through a bad time but now I'm better and I'm getting back to my good routine of exercising and watching what I eat. But I have trouble breathing, it feels like I can't get enough air no matter how hard I try. I have to work hard to breath. I told my doctor when he was doing tests to find out if I had Thyroid disease and he said that it was probably my Thyroid that was causing it but it hasn't gotten any better its gotten worse. Could it be because of the extra weight?

Do I need to get 2 negative results for my kitten before he is rid of giardia?

My almost 4mo. old bengal kitten tested positive for giardia. he was put on Panacur for 3 days and when I brought him back 2 days after finishing his medicine he still tested positive. He was then put on Flagyll for 7 days and this time when I brought him back after finishing med. he tested negative. The vet says I should bring him back in 2 weeks to be tested again to make sure the giardia is gone. Is this necessary? can it come back once its gone? Could it have been a false negative?
