When I came to the UK in 1968 there was a lot of hardship involved in settling in a new country.
This was not at all unexpected.
I accepted cold and the dresscode, the neighbourhood, the workplace, the new customs, as I wanted to make a new life here.
Now people come to the UK expecting it all on a plate.
Now housing, jobs and income too are provided to the new immigrant.
Anyone interested in facts can contact the local authorities in their area.
It is high time the migrant, especially economic migrant, was told that if they wish to settle in the UK it would be on the terms of the local communities.
