i am 19 engaged to my bestfriend. we have been together now for 3 years, i know this is bad but one night i got really drunk and me and one of his mates slept together we had always had a soft spot for eachother, i do love my fiance but i cant get this guy out my head hes always around us as there families are good mates, i think ive fallen for him and i know he feels the same but we dont want to hurt anyone so we cant be together, he has a new girlfriend now but still we cant stop staring at eachother and we cant seem to resist eachother. im so stuck i would hate to loose my fiance but how can i stay with him when im in love with his mate! even if we cant be together! im so messed up that i cant sleep!

Listen you cant love your man and sleep with his friend that is just wrong .I think you should end your engagement until you do get your head on straight ,what kind of relationship will this other guy offer you or is it just lust!!! .whatever the reason you need to do some talking to your man and tell him the way you feel .How would you feel if he was doing this behind your back ????wouldnt you rather him tell yah and talk about it than to hurt one so much .Your problem right now is guilt and if you dont tell him trust me in time he will find out and then you will be in a bunch of problems tell him how you feel .do the right thing .

Was the getting drunk and ending up sleeping with him really and accident? Are you sure about the engagement or was this a way to take a risk that may break it up? Or, did this mate of your friend take advantage of you by helping you get drunk? That means he is not a very good mate to your fiance after all.

I hid something similar to this for years, and a couple months before i got married I told my fiancee. It was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life, literally. She was torn up, but telling the truth and being real is ALWAYS the best way to go. The guilt that builds in you when you don't tell it is SO desctructive, and although it was the hardest thing I have ever done, it was the best thing I have ever done, literally. And even though she was pissed as hell for a long time, she was smart enough to realize how hard it was for me to tell her that truth. She respected that part of my character and we were eventually able to move on and now we are doing really really well. YOUR LIFE WILL BE BETTER IN THE LONG RUN IF YOU COME OUT AND BE HONEST. Deal with the short term anguish and pain, you are stronger than you think you are.

Sweetheart, you're only 19 years old. It's normal to fall in love with someone at such a young age and think you want to get married and then all of a sudden you fall in love with someone else...it's part of growing up. You realize as you get older, what it is that you want. If you have these feelings for someone else, don't get married,you'll regret it. I know your fiance is your best friend,but you'll hurt him more if you get married and still have feelings for his best friend. Let your fiance go, it's not fair to have your cake and eat it too. Tell your fiance what you did,I mean you would want to know too if he slept with one of your 'mates' wouldn't you? And if this guy likes you (or loves you) why would he get a new girlfriend?

If you slept with someone else, there is some void in your life with your finance that you are trying to fill. You are young still. Maybe you guys need some time away from one another. You still have alot of life to live. Go out and have some fun and if it is meant to be, you will find your way back to each other. Best wishes to you both.

tell your fiance what happened. it is going to hurt him, but if he loves you maybe he can forgive you. tell him before his friend tells him. if his friend tells your fiance, he is not going to paint a pretty picture of you. he will tell him you are nothing but a whore.
the other guy is never going to trust you, nor want you for his gf. he will use you for sex, and drop you like a bad habit when he is finished with you. you still have a lot to learn about men and their methods... don't mess around and get played by your fiance's friend.

i think you should tell your fiance that you need a break and that you are confused about something and that you need space to think about the situation, cause you can't go on forever with your fiance pretending to love him when you are in love with his bestfriend, and if this keeps going on your fiance would find out and get really mad cause he found out himself and not from you, honesty and forgivness are the best keys to a relationship., be honset and maybe he'll forgive you!
