I went to church with my mom since I was born, got 'saved', and for about seventeen years I was bored to tears. I was sick to death of the carpeted stages, the fake plants, the hallelujahs, the gospel band, and pretty sure at that point that God must be equally boring, but if I didn’t want to go to hell, I should continue being bored anyway.

Then, after going to a horrific christian school where they taught things like ‘loud drumbeats summon demons’, I started reading the bible for myself simply because I didn’t believe a word any Christian said to me anymore, and shockingly, I found out that I loved what I read. I went through hell and back during this time, and one day it was as if God just suddenly showed me who he was, and I was stunned, and fell completely in love. He became my life and the center of my world. I think I was mostly stunned by the fact that it was really Jesus after all...since Christian culture appealed to me so little, I couldn’t believe that God was actually so astonishingly entrancing. I was even a little bit dissapointed that in order to follow him I’d have to be associated with people who sold ‘prayer cloths’ on television and sweat profusely.

I continue to go to various churches because my mother insists that in order to be a ‘good’ christian I must, but despite the fact that I love God more than life itself, I am STILL bored to tears. Nothing about church appeals to me at all. I don’t even get to talk to other Christians. I just have to endure the awful music, the blah scenery and the long speeches, and then leave. I love to discuss my beliefs, and bible studies are often ideal, but church itself is perfectly wretched to me. Even the subculture that is associated with it...the conferences, the tv shows, the disliking of Harry Potter, is all massively disgusting to me. Nothing about the modern day church reminds me of God. Nothing is beautiful, or awe-inspiring, or mysterious.

So, what’s the deal? Do any other Christians have this problem? I love spending time with other Christians, but church is just beyond me. I’ve tried participating in any way you can imagine. So why do I love God and I’m unable to like church?

I've registered my interest in doing an IT course with affordabletraining.co.uk , and they've rung me up and quoted ~£600 for a course. Something smells fishy though, I can't help thinking they're trying to rip me off. What's the catch with this and similar providers?

I've been struggling to get my evil medical insurance company to pay all of the maternity fees that we were billed recently. They've basically only payed up to a certain amount ($3500), but not paying the full amount (the remaining $2100).
The bill for the obstetric care was $5600, so they are expecting me to pay a $2100 difference! Note that this doctor WAS in-network, so the service should be paid at 100%.

From the research I've done, it generally costs between $5,000-$8,000 for a normal vaginal delivery. So why they are cutting the funds at $3500 is beyond me.

Since something like childbirth is a normal and medically-necessary procedure, could this insurance company be sued for failing to pay the full amount?
And if so, what type of laywer would I need to look into contacting?

My guy friend played pro baseball so he got into chewing tobacco, but even though he doesn't play anymore he still chews. He knows it's gross, and I've tried to help him quit but nothing seems to work. I don't want him getting cancer of the mouth. I understand that it can be an addiction, but does it also relieve stress? Because I can tell when he's nervous he chews & spits. Why does he still do it though?

I have asked this question twice before, but I am still confused how to link others sites to my site. I open up my website then where do I go from there? I open my website by www.mywebsite.com, then what I do to add someone else's site to mine? I use "Edit with Microsoft Office Word"
I would appreciate if someone would tell me and show me graphically. I am very ignorant in this field.
Thank you

I'm doing a project about Central Europe and wanted to include a section about what people of about my age are into and its very hard to find! Does anyone know if i-Pods are all the rage and what music is cool? What magazines do people read? What movies are popular at the moment? I'm looking for info about clothes, food, electronic equipment. What brands are really popular -can anyone help? I would also like to know whether you apply to competitions - or if there are any and if you have ever won anything - especially if it came from a Western brand. I know thats quite a random question but have just read a report and would like to compare findings.

How much water when I steam rice in a rice steamer?
The directions for my rice steamer are absurd. Proportionally, how much water do I use per cup of rice in my rice steamer? I prefer tender but NOT soft rice with a bit of "umph" to it. No crunchy grains, please! I also use jasmine rice, if that helps. Recently I put in three cups of rice and 5 1/2 cups of water, and that made the rice too soggy/soft. Suggestions? Thanks!

I have put alot of time and money into schooling for this profession and now I can't find a job. I've been looking for months. I have to find a job soon, I am broke. I've been going through the list of companies on transcriptionresource.com but I haven't had any luck. I live in Jacksonville, FL but alot of companies are interet based and it doesn't matter where you live. Please help. Also, if you can give some pointers on how to get them to hire me, that would be great.
