I am a lady in late 40's, going through pre-menopause. I have been diagnosed with high cholestrol levels. I know that LDL is not good and that HDL helps in decreasing it. Would it be advisable to take healthy fats like vit-E capsules, that can lower my bad cholestrol, considering my overall cholestrol is high??
i.e should one take HDL even when overall cholestrol is high???

My Mother has a 1995 Mercury Marquis. About two years ago, her windows and locks would no longer work. She has taken it back to the dealership about 3 times and each time they do something else, it works for a day or two and they charge her tons and tons of money. Now, her driver door window and locks work, but the other windows no longer go up or down. Help!!! What can be done? What can it be? I can't see her paying tons more money on this thing. I told her she needs to get a new car, but she really loves this car.

Having been widowed at 42 my mother brought 4 of us up alone. I am the youngest and have always had an up and down relationship with her. It came to a head 3 years ago, and we have not spoken since.

I did once love my mother, but now, to be honest, I don't think I will even shed a tear when she dies.

Has anyone had similar experinces? Is it wrong to hate someone to once took care of me?

I do however still allow her a relationship with my children. She was a terrible mother, but she is a good Granparent.

When my sister was about 12 she kept having a recurring dream that she was on fire, she thought nothing of it really and eventually they went away. Now she is 31 and has a daughter of 6 who recently woke up from a bad dream called out and of course my sister went straight to her and asked what was the matter and she answered - I dreamt you were burning Mommy!
Does anyone know what this means as it is really freaking my sister out! It's stranger than fiction! I have to admit, when she told me my blood ran cold!!

I need inspiration. I am getting desterate as I have lost 5 stone and haven't been able to lose the last 2 stone (14lbs) for about 3 years, as I have had some operations and haven't been able to exercise. I can exercise now but not as heavily as I could before. I would appreciate real experiences of how much you lost, what eating and exercise plans/methods you used.

What do you really think of any or all methods of assisting a pregnancy?

Do you think that every person has a right to be a parent no matter what it costs in both money and emotions? Should it always be available free or never be free? Or do you think that if nature is saying no then there might be a natural selection process going on and infertile people should just accept it?

I've been married for two years, with the same man for five years and we have children together. We have had our ups and downs, but life is good for us right now and we both are happy. For some reason though, I'm compelled to cheat on him with another man. No one really in particular... just someone "new." Mind you, our sex life is great, so I don't think that is the problem. I didn't have much "experience" before being with my husband, so I wonder if that's what it is? I rescued one cat 6 months ago he's more moody around me then my friend who is housing him then I adopted a kitten probably around 6 months old( they said 4 months) this is my cat and I am afraid if I am not there a whole lot will he get more attached to my friend and not me? if so is there anything I can do about it? I do plan 2 be there more it's just he got a new job so he could pay his rent and works till 2 am a lot of nights which is pointless for me an hour to his place if we're not gonna get a chance to hang out. I think he'll be able to get better hours soon though.
