My husband and I have been together for 5 years and married for 2.

We are trying for our first baby and hopefully the baby will be born when I am 24/25 and he is 26/27.

We own a home, have plenty of money, careers, etc. and are very happy and stable.

I mentioned to my mother a few months ago that we wanted a baby soon.

She started a fight with me telling me I should wait until I am 30 and how she doesn’t have the time to be a grandma since my two little brothers still live at home. (They are 9 and 13).

I told her that it was our choice and not hers.

She told me it was HER business since I am her child and any children I have will be her grandchildren.

She feels she has a say in the matter because she shat me out!

She hasn’t supported me since I turned 18 and we are not going to rely on her for any help once we have a child.

Do you think its crazy that she thinks us having a baby is her business?

I know a lot of people get married to help someone get their green card and I know someone who needs to have this happen. This is not a joke, he really needs to get married soon, people have shown interest, but he has no idea how much he should pay someone, I've heard anywhere from $5,000.00 to $25,000.00? Has anyone done this or no someone who has?

Thanks to Dave for his question which prompted this answer.
Now I ask you what shall we do about this?

100 years ago CO2 was at 250 parts per million in the atmosphere. It is NOW at 425 parts per million.
Climate change will start with the melting of the ice caps at 450 parts per million, global catastrophy will start at about 550 parts per million.
At 550 parts per million, the gulf stream will reverse, the UK and western Europe will become almost uninhabitable, tidal effect will change and sea edge land masses will be underwater.
East Coast USA will become a near desert and the world population will have to survive on about 30% of the usable landmass for farming that we have today.
The USA and China are the two dirtiest countries in the world for the dumping of CO2 into the atmosphere.

Do you think that Climate change and CO2 should be an important talking point in the next USA elections?

Would you wonder where they had gone? Maybe they all went to heaven and God left you here.:)

What would you do to pass the time? I mean, you'd have an endless supply of canned foods like spam and pooted meat to take care of food. What would you do with all the time you have?

All the money you have would be worthless as everything you get you can get for free.

Myself, I love existance...living...life...but Im not a leftist, I want the leftist viewpoint. You see, where darwinian conflict occurs, leftists always support the attacking predator, forcing the non-leftist, who wants to live and believes he has a right to live, to fight alone.

Leftists, once I understood the pathetic religious motive of the mindless Islamic predator, I had no compulsion about endorsing any act necessary to stave off the animal.

You on the other hand...the weak kneed and pathetic amongst us, feel so much self hate, and hate for you immediate surroundings, that you put us all in danger and make the Islamic beast salivate.

Indeed, to the degree that Islamists think Liberalism is the norm, they will smirk and attack the weakened prey with greater verocisty.

When I put something in the search bar of Limewire and go on search, this message comes up:
"Limewire is currently connecting to the network. Your search may not return many results untill you are fully connected to the network."

I click on file where it says connect and disconnect, but I can only click on disconnect, which means I must be connected. I can use the internet OK, so what could be wrong with it?

i breastfed my son(2), and my daughter!(16 months) i just stopped breastfeeding my daughter a few weeks ago. is it wrong for me to not want to breastfeed my third baby? i know it's better for them, but, i'm just tired, and it was more work than connection with me and my kids anyway. my son did great, but my baby girl had a hard time from day one. could it be that i'm just scared it'll be harder this time?
