My husbands forehead and scalp just almost drip with oil. Does anyone know why or what he can do to make it stop or at least control it?

Get him to use an extra strength astringant, and wash his hair with a oily hair shampoo.

Alternative Cures by Bill Gottlieb suggests that he cut back on eating any kind of saturated fats, and take lecithin and flaxseed oil to correct what is an imbalance of the fatty acids in his skin and scalp. This and the skin cleaners recommended above should help clear up the problem.
Good luck!

he might not go for this but Mary Kay has an oil mattifier. It works really well, says up to 12 hours… but my skin is so oily that it work for eight hours… but still an improvement than 20 minutes.

I applys just like a lotion but you only need a small amount… apply to the T-zone and your set… you can reapply but have to be careful because it’s taking the excess oils out of your skin and too much can cause a rash and/or excessive dryness

Lucky he is expulsing the grease, it is definitive better than to keep it inside the body.
Watch out what is he eating and control the amounts of greasy things.
Make him sweat, cardio at least two times a week.
