Has it been a reliable car? B/c it is a hybrid does one need to take it to the dealership for all maintenance? In your opinion do you believe that it was worth the extra money? Finally, if someone buys one used can you still get the tax break?

For being gay.
Can one be found?
Should we invest more money in trying to find a cure?
Should there be gay cure research charities?
Just wondering.

I am 15 and so is my best friend. I am a guy, she's a girl, we have known each other for 2 years. I have noticed that we get along better in a more intimate surrounding, with fewer people around, like at her house watching T.V. or in the pool hall. But in school we generally hang out seperately and dont talk as much as we could. Why is this? Why do we get on better in quiter places?

The cat is 18 years old and has been neglected as far as love and affection. She is arthritic and sleeps all the time but she does eat, drink and use the litter box. I have devoted a whole bedroom to this cat and give her alot of petting and affection every time I go into that room which she really likes. She won't go any farther than just outside the bedroom and into the hallway a little bit. I have taken her to the vet for a check up and shots, etc. The vet says she is just an "old gramma kitty" but in relatively good health for her age.

My question is - how long do cats generally live? She is already 18 for pete sake. When does there come a time that you put a cat down?

I have one door in my home that I have tried to seal all around but the crickets keep getting in somewhere. Luckily this is a mud room and they seem to like it there and don't go any further. Is there something that I can spray or maybe a powder substance that I can sprinkle along the threshold to kill them before they enter? I'm bugged.

Aren't they the most successful life forms, being the most adaptable? But I would think they are also among the simplest, and oldest. Why doesn't evolution tend to simplify, rather than come up with more and more complicated organisms?

Then again, doesn't a bacterium or a virus need something ELSE to live on?

I dunno. Ignorance never stopped me from asking questions before. Discuss. Thanks!

I am a widow with 2 kids - one is ready for high school next year. He's a bright kid with good grades, plays Lacrosse, Football, but no music skills; art skills mostly limited to history. He is a major historian but loves the new challenge of war on terror and cannot wait to see how this war ends. I make $38,000 per year and cannot afford to send him. Any hints on financial aid or words to wow the administration?

An academic failure, I spend my days sitting under trees, using the sound of passing locomotives as backing tracks. The only thing that keeps me going is my mother's confidence that one day I'll make it.

Who am I?

"I will have no part in the creation of a constitutional double-standard to benefit the President. He is not above the law. If an ordinary citizen committed these crimes, he would go to jail." - Bill Frist

"What is on trial here is the truth and the rule of law" - James Sensenbrenner

"This nation sits at a crossroads. One direction points to the higher road of the rule of law. Sometimes hard, sometimes unpleasant, this path relies on truth, justice and the rigorous application of the principle that no man is above the law. Now, the other road is the path of least resistance. This is where we start making exceptions to our laws based on poll numbers and spin control. This is when we pitch the law completely overboard when the mood fits us, when we ignore the facts in order to cover up the truth. No man is above the law, and no man is below the law. That's the principle that we all hold very dear in this country." - Tom Delay
