No, but as soon as we find a cure for being stupid I'll be sure to let you know!

I'm not sure whether you're taking the piss with your question but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. As Minty has already said, it's a genetic predisposition.
I suppose we could implant a "cure" once we make substantial advances in genetic engineering but would we want to waste valuable time and resources doing so? If nothing else, a cure would reduce the wonderful diversity we have in modern society.

Being attracted to someone is not cureable, it's like liking the colour purple over the colour red. The choice you make when you find someone attractive is though.
If you are a christian, muslim, or have belief in any other faith then you obviously have to abide by certain tennets within those faiths - but ultimately the choice of how you act on your desires is a personal one.
In the context of society in general we need to be more open to new ideas, and stop being so conservative. A cure for depression, mid life crisis, and child abise in a better alternative than trying to repress a persons own attractions and desires.

There are people dying of diseases in the world spend your time finding a cure for those. This is a quick character build of me... Im a 24 year girl who loves shopping, watches DVDs, goes to work 9 -5, pay my taxes, drives .... does this sound familiar ... perhaps because i am no different to you or anyone else... by the way im a lesbian. I love someone, make them feel special and do not neglect them! So if there is something wrong with that you need to sort your priorities out.

I dont know about a cure but the huge amount of female hormone found in the London Area water supplies may well lead to males becoming feminised, possibly Gay. Hence cofee drinkers are likely to become Gay and Newcastle Brown ale drinkers likely not to be.

And is there a cure for people who are homophobic or simply wishing to impose their own values and judgment on others?
Being LGBT is not an illness. And in this narrow-minded world, being LGBT is merely a misfortune - because we are relatively the minority. That, of course, does not make us ashamed of ourselves. On the contrary, we are proud to be able to face the world.
By the way, the LGBT community is not a charity case. Many of us make our own living and live gracefully.

The best cure for homosexuality is to kill all the bigots and then it will not be an issue. Less bigots = gay "problem" solved when all those who consider it a problem are at the bottom of the ocean. Easiest solution to state, hard to implement as the fascists like to struggle and resist. Maybe pitting the ultra-religious groups against each other in an all-out genocidal war would suffice. Any thoughts?

Being 'gay' is not some disease to be cured.
The dis-ease is in others who are afraid of them for some reason.
Some recent research suggests that it is to do with the orientation of the persons brain - and how it developed at crucial stages inutero. Therefore there is no 'cure' - it is a natural development of some foetuses (foetusii?? ).
It is 'hard-wired', not a choice that they make. Get over yourself!

No, there is no need for a "cure" charity -- though a cure for ignorance would be wonderful.

Given that homosexuality isn't a psychiatric disorder or disease to begin with, its not something which can be "cured".
Changes in sexual orientation are referred to as "change" rather than "cure". Some people do indeed "change" their sexual orientation, but not through exgay therapy.
Experts think that people who "change" were never gay to begin with, or were bisexual - some bisexuals have a degree of fluidity in their sexual orientation when compared with a monosexual. Some bisexuals would agree that they are not really changing as gender isn't a factor in their choice of sexual partners.

There is no need for a 'cure'. Being gay is something that one is born with and cannot be altered in any way. If someone is left-handed and wants to be right-handed it still does not 'cure' how someone is born, it is a natural preference and a person's sexual preference is something that can't be changed.
