According to Consumer Reports those Ionic Breeze from Sharpers Image like stores are not worth the money. They look slick and nice but hardly do anything to purify air.

The best air cleaner is the ones that is installed as part of your central air system. They are roughly $500-$1000 depending on the size and type of system you have.

I no longer have the issue of Consumer Reports. You can go to your library and check out the Oct and May issue from last year to see their recommandation for room size models.

Best wishes.

We have three in our home. Two weren't all that expensive, around $60.00. The one we have in the living room cost around $350.00. Now this one is great, it knocks the dust particles out of the air and really cleans the air.
I have asthma and problems with bronchitis from time to time and this really helps me breath inside the house.

I use the AirSource 3000 which helps reduce all three of the major forms of air pollution: particles such as pollen, pet dander, dust, and cigarette smoke; microbes such as mold and bacteria; and gases and odors.

They do have a 60-day return policy as well.

Hope this is helpful and if you would like the website, feel free to contact me.

Yes, they can be great.

I own many ionic Breezes.
They'res one in every room of my house.

They make the air fresh and clean, and they help me with my sinus problems and allergies.

I used to be so allergic to dust that I'd swell up, but ever since I got my ionic breezes, I've never swelled up once.

They're GREAT.

Given what I've heard about you, in that your breath is so bad that people look forward to your farts, I do believe an air purifier would be an good investment.
