If I am upset b/c others who want what I have try to drive a wedge in between me and the person, does that?

say that my love is not pure b/c I am angry or jealous over it? I am not angry at the person I love, but a woman who seems to think she knows me, who is using condemnation to drive a wedge between us b/c she wants him herself....

How do i pull myself out of depression?

When pouring a fizzy drink why tilt the glass?

Ok stupid question but here goes - when pouring a fizzy drink (beer, coke, whatever) does it help to tilt the glass sideways.

If you pour the drink with glass standing up the bubbles are much more intense, where as if you tilt the glass the bubbles are much less.

Why is this? I thought it was surface area of the liquid being greater but I think this is rubbish... any thoughts?

Illegally driving overseas? I'm British, living in Italy - and apparently driving illegally in both places!

British passport, British licence. Just discovered UK licence invalid in UK since am now officially resident in Italy. And have also discovered UK licence doesn't count over here as I've been here too long (6 years - registered resident) and you're supposed to change it within 2, or something equally ridiculously.
So much for the 'open frontiers' of the EU, eh?!
Or am I just misinformed/paranoid?

By having this war with Afghan and Iraq, the "hidden" enemy, has come out of the closet (so to speak) and

now is in the public eye, so why are so many people angry at bush. "FORT BRAGG, N.C. -- Federal agents detained 28 construction and landscaping employees Tuesday during a check for false identification at Fort Bragg, the post said.

"They found they had false or fraudulently obtained identification cards," said Tom McCollum, a spokesman for the 18th Airborne Corps. "None were U.S. citizens."

More than 224 people have been detained trying to enter Fort Bragg, a large Army base south of Raleigh, under false pretenses during the past year, McCollum said. "
