Has the Bush administration "pushed the envelope" beyond what was done previously? Or have the rules of the game changed?

Would you be willing to allow the same tactics as were used in WWII (EXCEPT for the mass detention of civilians)? I would - I'm not ready to declare FDR a war criminal.

What's your view? What facts and/or cites do you have that would educate us?

People in the US have no way of knowing if a person that came across the boarder illegally, are here to do harm or work, and if this person is wanted by police in the other country they came from. On the other hand people who come here to work only want a better life. What people don't realize is, if you are here illegally, you don't have any rights, you are not a citizen, but you get free handouts, take advantage of the system, and pay no taxes. Why do you think you have a right to be here? What if the government decides to shoot and kill violaters crossing the boarder? Closing the boarders seem to be the answer, even to protect both parties. The citizens of the US, and the person crossing the boarder! What would Russia do with illegals? Firing squad?

my son 8 has been for 2 months waking up crying every single night ,he dont care what the he looses he still crys ,when I ask whay he says im alone in my room ,or Im scared ,I ask the doctor about this he has put him on startta 25 mgs ,and it still has not stopped ,I tell him if you cry tonight you loose fun game time he still crys what should I do what id your oppion ,he dont cry when you are in his room sleeping .

im trying to find a court that i can take my ex boyfriend 2...to make him have his son on a regular weekly basis.i dont see why he should lead a life of luxury when he 2 has responsabilitys....i have searched through the internet and can't find anything!! surely there must be some law????? i have applied for child support but im getting no where with them!! my ex wont speak 2 me or answer any of my calls.besides getting him beaten up what other civil act can i do for hm 2 acknowledge his son??? im scared if i just let it go then there's never going 2 be a father son relationship..and i don't want that to happen...please help x

My girlfriend husband left her; and didn't have much contact with her for over a year. Now all the sudden he wants to be nice to her and her kids. He realized that he lost a good thing. She decided to cut all ties with him, and not let him back into their lives. She has moved on, but is not in a relationship with anyone. This is her healing process, and I know that he is cunning enough to distract her. Now he decided to have an relationship with her 2yr old neice. I feel that he is using this baby to have some sort of contact with her. Her sister doesn't understand.

available. i myself hate drugs and think that they are a waste of time and money. i have recently expressed my opinions after trying for a long time to ignore the problem. he became angry and i asked him to choose between the drugs and me. however he said he would not change, as why should he give up something that he finds fun and enjoyable.
i have now been left to make a difficult decision between my beleifs and my boyfriend whom i am very much in love me. i dont know how i would cope without him but his behaviour puts me off.
ny suggestions would be helpful as i am very confused right now.
