I don't think that would work for me.... I wear a hardhat and steel toed boots to work..... (lmao) !!!
But --- life works like that, and we (women) can and should use our own resources to get the most out of life..........it's called survival --- and,
Survival of the FITTEST !!!

Not if you're a 6'6 Rugby player applying for a job as a door-person ;-)
A friend of mine wore a short skirt for her driving test and passed. By her own admission she cant drive for... well, she's not a good driver. Good luck with your pay rise.

Nice come-back to Adam R's line!! lmao!

Seriously, if you are after a payrise, this is how I got mine: I'd been asking for months and getting nowhere, so I wrote a letter pointing out what I do and what I valued myself at. Was called into the office the following day and given a 20% payrise. Wish I'd sent that letter 18 months ago! Good luck ;-)

If you are visiting a handsome guy, definitely yes. And try a mini-skirt. But, if the person in charge is somebody else, try to be more formal. I mean a formal mini-skirt! LOL! Anyhow, seriously, have other arguments ready as well!

Wear what you feel comfortable and professional in. I recall a young woman in an interview wearing a mini skirt. It was obvious she wasn't comfortable wearing that attire. She spent much of her time in the interview trying to rearrange her skirt. It didn't impress me and certainly she didn't perform well.
Another way, Sorry its a little cruder, of looking at the situation is to realise all of us are trying to impress with our skills and worth to the company. What will the skirt sell?

Hmmm. . . Yes, a short skirt WOULD increase your chances, but in order to seal the deal, it might be necessary to 'forget' to wear panties that day.
I hope this helps!

I guess if you must wear clothes at all, a skirt is the best option.

No it depends on the nature of your boss, which you can better judge. If you feel he is inclined to you physically then go for it, otherwise it is your sincerity towards work is going to be the deciding factor.
