MY ex keeps calling me..its been a year and half since we broke up. WE havent had sex and i live 2 hours away from him but he keeps calling...why do you think this is? he says he cares and loves me but we are both living seperate lives and he has a new girlfriend!! if he has a new girl..why has he continued to call me after 1.5 years? and its not a booty call b/c i refuse to have sex w.him!. i still love him but don't know what to do b/c he has another girl at home (i live 2 hours away). its killing me to keep in touch with him b/c i miss him so much. he is emotionally shy....but he broke up with me...so i dont know how to act. should i tell him i need time to meet other guys and that he is holding me back? if so will he ever call me again? any advice..this has been all i think about for the past 1.5 years..im so emotionally drained!

OK it is commonly thought that it uses just as much energy to WALK a mile as it does to RUN a mile. But when you bring a bicycle into the equation, how does it stack up? Does riding a bicycle use as much energy as walking, or less? ...Because it feels as though it uses a LOT less.

Obviously it is easier to cycle a modern, well maintained bicycle than an old, rusty one. But how much reisitance would a poorly maintained bicycle have to give before it made more sense to get off and walk- given that you would still be PUSHING that poorly maintained bicycle?

Why do new things smell so good but are likely bad for you? For instance a new car smell. The smell is from the carpeting and upholstery "curing" and is supposedly bad. A sharpie pen... Ever open up a package of brand new hockey cards and like the smell of them? Odd question, but still.

I took a stimulant medication and my mind can't stop racing. I am agitated and irritated.

I'm too anger to sleep because people keep insisting that I need to 'accept' my race and be proud of who I am. Well, I'm not black. I don't look black, I don't act black, I don't feel black, so why would I accept it? Why should I say I am something I know I'm not?

My mom is black, my dad was mostly black, but I don't agree with the labels that society tries to pin on me. What is race anyway? It is a constrution of society based on a person's apperance. If I don't even look black then how am I?

I'm tired of people trying to tell me who I am, I know who I am and I am not any race. I wish the whole concept would vanish. This is exsperating my anxiety...

I don't remember Iraq ever threatening the "freedom" of US citizens. Of course, NOW our freedoms are threatened by the heavy handed, illegal actions of the Homeland Security police...but that's a horse of an even brighter color, isn't it?
