Yes many times: But I continually fought through it. Not being a person who asks for help I have not sought therapists nor drugs as a crutch. Along the way a family and now grandchildren have kept me supplied with reasons to keep going. I wouldn't want them to think its ok to give up. Remember depression is sometimes a chemical imbalance so do not be afraid of seeking medical assistance. As well the answer is often right around the corner and if you hang in you will find the answer.
Everyone's diagnosis at birth is death, but don't bother speeding it up. Change whatever you have to change in order to make tomorrow a bit better then today.

Yes, I have. Then I get a big exclamation mark in my head and I mentally slap myself silly. Telling myself that this rock of hardship is nothing compared to the beautiful grass of friendship, trees of family and the far endless blue skies of the unknown future of people I have yet to meet and accomplishments yet to be done. Then I take a deep breath and break out the sledge hammer to work things out as best as I can.

oh yeah, when thinking gets in the way of living. thinking about life prevented me from living. thinking is a valuable asset when used appropriatly, but what a destructive mechanism when applied to why life is the way it is. thank god for the life I have, and the power to deal with life confronts me with, without thinking.
