Actually, it might be the other way around. The spasms in your head, neck, shoulders, and arms may be causing the headaches.

There are two types of headaches; migraines and tension headaches.

Migraine headaches are neurological, that is, brain and head related.

The tension headache, which is much more common, is caused by tension in muscle and nerve groups. If you have tension or other problems caused by spasms, then they could precipitate such a headache.

You should definitely consult a doctor. The spasms could be a sign of a larger problem.

It's usually spasms causing headaches, but indeed, a jolt of pain in your head can cause you to move involuntary. I know I sometimes have a sudden jolt of headache which almost causes me to fall over...

If you're suffering from serious spasms after a headache often, I'd advise going to a doctor about it.

headache should not be the cause but rather an effect of tight muscles around your hips. headaches are usually an indicator that something is wrong and requires immediate action. try stretching exercises and take warm milk at nights if you are not allergic to milk. Most spasm occurs due to tight muscles. give them some lubes by proper exercise and diet.

try almond oil with warm milk.

i don't think headache has to do with the spasms of the arms. i never heard about head spasms! if your neck is painful yes it has to do with spasms of the arm.

I have a pinched nerve in my neck which causes tingling in my arms. This sounds serious to me - and I definitely would go to the doctor. It might be something as simple as an overtight muscle in your neck, but I would definitely go and get this checked out.
