Cant you accept that there are people here in the UK from various nationalities and religions and are here to stay.

I met a man the other week, who seemed genuine and seemed to really like me, etc, though I was quite suspicious of this behaviour as I'm used to horrid men! We arranged to meet the next eve as we didn't have our phones to exchange numbers - it was just a casual meeting as we were both out with friends - I went to the pub, but was 35 minutes late (by accident) and he either wasn't there or I didn't see him (it was very busy)

Do you think he left cos I was so late, or perhaps was just another lying man? And if I see him out at the weekend, should I go over and sound out the situation?

I don't want to blow it with the one nice person I meet, because of all the losers I've met in the past...But I don't want to be taken for a fool either!

Sorry for the llloooonnnnngg question, but I'm a girl, and we sometimes need to provide details....

What is the difference between summing 9/10+9/100+9/1000+.... and the summation process that takes place in an integral? For example, if f(x)=1 and we compute the integral from 0 to 1, the answer is 1. One can argue that we are calculating the area of a square with side 1 unit. Is there a way to show how 0.999... ties into all of this? Evidently the integral by definition is the limit of an infinite average but 0.999... is not an average.

In the christian religion it says to "love thy neighbor" (correct me if I am wrong)... but christians also happen to look down upon the Gay society and see it as a sin (correct me on this too, if i am wonrg)... what happens if your neighbor is gay?.. what do you do?.. either way you break commitment to your faith.

Curiosity overtook me. My bf had a video disk sitting out. I popped it into the video camera and to my regret, it was footage of his ex doing some adult things. I became angry, scratched it up and put it in the garbage. He says its over because of that. Would you have done the same thing? After all, it was just sitting out, in the bedroom, on the floor. I'm sorry that i did it now because i may have caused the demise of my relationship. I'm trying to find a way to get it repaired. I love him alot and i don't want to lose him. What would go with it best? The walls are cream and our sofa is cream too. The fireplace isn't real wood so its not a natural colour, i think its supposed to be pine though!
