Hey man! Guess what? I've been wearing skirts since I was born. And you know what? I have enjoyed the blessing of truly being separate from the world.Romans 12:1,2 It truly signifies that I am different, and has opened the door for witnessing, in the most interesting ways! As a Christian, we MUST be different from the world, and I feel that this is a modest, and clear way to show that we are!

I don't know what they were wearing back then, but I do know that the Old Testament laws have been superseded by grace [the new Covenant].
I was in the Army for 20 years. I got paid to wear men's clothing!!

There are many things that are contridictory to today's society in the old testament. As a blanket statement, Christian's "don't follow" the old testament because Jesus "made a new covenant" with them.
If we all followed the old testament, we wouldn't be eating shellfish or sleeping on burlap, and we'd all go to hell if we developed internal bleeding.

The same number who would give up shellfish over the laws of Moses. The New Testament speaks to these issues,that we are free of the law,except for the one law that Jesus gave that summed up all the rest Do unto others as you would have them do onto you love your neighbor as yourself.

At the time, men didn't wear pants. Men and women both wore robe-like clothing. So I think this passage has more to do with taking someone else's clothing of the opposite sex, and wearing it as a disguise. I dunno. It's not gonna stop me from wearing pants or a shirt/blouse.

actually, women wore pants first^_^. They were once garments worn by women in the middle east called"Paranja". So men are wearing womens clothes;).

every generation has their own def of woman's and mens clothing (kilts in scotland are basically really nice skirts rememeber but its socially acceptable) ALSO who says its a myth buddy
