Why regret what you never had, lets face it you are looking at what out missed out on instead you should be looking at it as a disaster avoided. You should know that there could have been a horrid mistake or worse you could have ended up with a hair style that could have been designed by a new stylist (no experience resulting in the bad bad hair experience.) Be thankful that you had a nice time with your friend.

Here's how: simply say, "Nah... it's ok."

Come to think of it, why did the lady just approached you and your friend and asked if you "could work for them" (to model) without even saying what other things you'll get in return aside from the free hairstyle? Do they even know your names? What are they up to?

Therefore, it's ok that your friend said no. Cheer up and be glad! ;-)

Yes, how old is your friend? Is she a dependable person? Maybe she said "No thanks" because she felt that something was not right. Perhaps she has a sixth sense, who knows?

Anyway, it is up to you. If you think it was a safe offer, which will pose no big danger, then go for it. It is never too late. But be careful. Be wary. One never knows what can lie behind a pretty smile.

As long as you are not one to freak out over a cut you would not consider nor ask for...you have no problem putting your hair in the hands of someone to do with what they want...track em down and go for it!

Go find these people. Get involved. The bright side is you are learning that you need to stand up for yourself and not let other people make decisions for you.

You have to decide to do so. There are many people who follow others because they are afraid of doing something "wrong". Go back and say yes. It's ok to change your mind.

The bright side of it is that you may have learned that you need to be independent.
