My dorm room came with a desk lamp but it's really boring. I can't take the lampshade off and i don't want to buy a new lamp. Is there a way I can embelish it. Keep in mind I am a "starving student". Thanx!

I have had dreams that I was falling, what does this mean?

I have had dreams like this as long as I can remember. I have never hit bottom though. I have always heard that if you hit the bottom you will die.

How should I react and respond???

A guy I like was talking about "an amazing" girl, saying she is awesome and stuff like that. I was realy jelous when he said this,as if she is better or something (maybe she is). And then our friends smile say great and stuff. I am there,silent, not looking at him,pretending not to care. How should I react and respond to this? What should I say? What should I do....HELP!!!

Does anyone know where I can get rid of acne scars????

I want to have flawless skin (who doesn't? and I dont like wearing makeup). I am a light skinned african american female and about to be 19 on september 26. I HATE having to look in the mirror at these hedious scars on my arms, shoulders, back, and face. I look at other girls who get to wear anything because they dont have any scars on their body. They dont know how lucky they are. It just feels like everyone is looking at my scars and discolorations. I wish I could walk around without having to pull my shirt sleeves down so it can cover my scars or go one day without wearing makeup. I dont pick at my skin and i dont use any harsh cleansers. I tried everything under the sun: dermatologist (actually made my skin WORSE) etc.
I drink a lot of water and exercise regularly. I need HELPFUL and honest answers! I was thinking about surgery, for I am fed up with this and desperate to get results.

Does using an electric razor cause ingrown hairs?

I read that shaving against the grain can cause ingrown hairs and when using an electric razor aren't you suppose to shave against the grain. So won't this cause ingrown hairs while shaving?

HELP!!! my man cant stop ogling other girls!!?

we have been together for 2 years, and he tells me he loves me all the time, hes kind and gentle, and finally i have found someone who treats me, and my child right,he want a child, and to get married to me...!
but theres just one thing, when we go out, or go shopping, i find him staring at girls, i am not unattractive at all, and im not looking out for this, sometimes he double takes and sometimes hes staring right through me ,a nd at them, reguardless if im with him or not.i have questioned him about this, and he says he is not interested in other women, and doesnt relise he is doin this. it is making me feel worthless and unhappy, and i feel like im constantly comparing myself to other women all the time. what would you do, and does anybody else have to put up with this from there partner?

how to last long distance relationship?

I have been in long distance relationship for more than 2 years. It seemed ok in the beginning. But later on, we started having more and mroe problems. In fact, we, two, do not want to break our relationship easily. I make international call to her everyday to keep continuous contact. But my girl is sick on talking on phone. Finally she even stopped using cell phone. Now emailing is the only way we can contact now.
Is there any idea to make a long lasting relationship? What do you think of my current relationship?

how long will it take me to loose 20 pounds if i do these things?

ok i will do pilates everyday for a month and do 40-60 minutes of cardio everyday and i will strength train 3 days a week my goal is to loose 20 pounds in 4 months doing these things and i will count my calorie intake, oh yeah and on the treadmeal i will be joggin and running on it for 40 minutes on strength training day and rest days i will do 60 minutes of cardio
