866 233 2777. i know that it's in Idaho, U.S.A. this number called from long distance.

I've had this 866 233 2777 number calling here for several weeks now. They do the same thing to me,,,hang ups immediately after I answer. How the heck do they get your number in the first place. I am averaging about 2 calls per day also. Always comes up unavailable. I am in Canada also. I finally left a message on my answering machine saying "This is an important message. Scammer, you can stop calling here at any time. For anyone who does know me, please feel free to leave a message." I am almost thinking about having their calls traced through the phone company & have harassment charges placed through the Police Department Fraud Unit. I am very tired of these annoying calls as I do have other persons call me that have unavailable numbers. I always answer because I have family members that are very ill right now. So, these calls are quite a nuisance. This number is from out of Idaho as stated. It is associated with NCO Customer Management/NCO Financial Systems aka Allied Interstate. What they are doing is making fraudalent attempts to collect fake debts on the behalf of other companies. I have no debt so they can have fun trying to scam me. They pretend to be Doctor's offices calling, AOL representatives, you name it. Beware of all calls from any unavailable number that pops up asking for any type of payment. Just thought I'd share...

Appears to originate from the USA. I'm in Canada. This has to be breaking some laws somehow....

We're in Canada; this call is from an "unknown" caller in the USA, on our fax line.

This is an annoying call rings almost twice a day, once late afternoon and once between 8 to 9 PM central time.
As soon as we say hello caller hangs up.

probably a telemarketer. I get 866 numbers calling me all the time. It could also be someone using a calling card. Try calling it, more than likely it's a toll free call from some company trying to sell you something!
