Mating came first. Love came when the brain evolved and slowed down out reproduction rate. Love was the first cause of the world's aging population.

Humans just love mating.
Actually human males and females do go into heat. Mostly because of societal pressure most humans have learned to suppress that.
An indicator is a rise in body temperature.
Usually said as such and such being hot.

depends...by theory of evolution or by religious view? by theory of evolution, the species sapien has always felt love but before we evolved that we must have had mating first. by religion, we have felt love since being created.

Humans -- because who would love and mate based on your list.
Love -- Since we're not animals, humans tend to love their mates, sometimes at least.
Mating.

You are implying that loveless sex is rape. The first humans probably mated based on instinct.

No one can *know* for sure. I imagine God created Eve with a love already in place for Adam(He's God, he can do that if he wants to.)... and Adam was lonely so of course he loved Eve.
