I personally don't believe that dreams mean anything. I very often dream that I'm unable to stop my car even though I'm pulling the hand brake up to the roof (literally). It doesn't bother me.

The meaning of falling in a dream-When you fall in a dream,or see some one fall,it usually evokes a lot of anxiety. It suggests a loss of control, such as losing confidence, loss of face,or perhaps a loss of favour socially,or if your support systems fail.Seeing a child fall can mean the child is gaining independence, and you feel you are losing them. With an adult, you may be frightened of losing them,or want them out of your life.Struggling against falling expresses a lot of tension and anxiety.Ask yourself when you feel that in waking life and what stimulates it.Sometimes it's worth imagining yourself in the dream and letting yourself fall. There is nothing in your dream except your own thoughts and feelings.Letting yourself fall is a way of letting go of tension. If you are falling into a deep hole, you are probably feeling anxious about your health. But the hole is only the unknown.Falling into water connects with your emotions you are finding difficult to meet. You can easily swim in dreams, all it takes is a little imagination.I hope l was of some help to you.

No you will not die if you hit the bottom. Maybe you have this dream when there is something in your life that you can not control. You should let go and let things take their course when it comes to things you can not change.

I used to have this dream when I was a little younger all the time...I would even wake up from kicking the wall...and it hurt so bad!! It was kind of a scary dream, actually...worse than one of those scary rides at the fair. I never noticed anything happen as a result of the dream though.

Dreams of falling almost always reflect feelings of being out of control - of not knowing “where we are going to land.” When we have a falling dream, we are encouraged to look for areas in our
lives where we feel especially powerless. It’s natural to doubt yourself in the face of life’s mysterious challenges.

I have actually learned to control my dreams and so if I fall, I make myself sprout wings and start flying.
