Whenever i'm doing hand work, hitting a heavy bag or whatnot, my hands begin to hurt. I come from a family of boxers (I'm a martial artist) and they tell me i have "***** hands" and i'll just have to live with it. Is there any way to strengthen my hands' pain threshold?

I asked a question about how to safely store fur pieces until winter...all I got was some remarks from PETA...Why is everyone hating on my fur? Last time I checked fur was a fashion accessory...and it always has been...right?

By the way how do u safely store fur? Is it really unsafe to keep it in plastic?

Okay, I have 2 friends: one lives close, the other a few states away, everybody single no kids. I have no bad habits and hold my own. Male A I've been knowing for a minute and recently found out he once professed to mutal friends that he loved me but never came out with it cause I was always attatched. Now we talk constantly and he tells me about females he's interested in and when I promote him to go forward he seems to come up with 101 hemhaws or either texts me about how good it's going (nothing ever materialzes). Now he and Male B know of each other and Male B does "boyfriendish" things (brings dinner over, fixes things for me, cute gifts, etc.), but we have never so much as kissed. No sex with either, (oh, Male A does the gift thing also) but I keep sensing mixed signals from both. If I listen to my friends (no not Lil Remmy and Alize ~no offense), they tell me I have 2 suitors afraid to approach but hoping the other backs off. Any suggestions or insight on handling this?

I workout every single day. I alternate between 30 minutes running or 30 minutes stairclimbing and then some abs and arms stuff. I have a sore leg, kind of like I pulled a muscle. I'd like to skip my workout today but I end up feeling so guilty. I know I'll end up running or something. It won't make me feel better just to walk or do something less strenuous. Do other people feel like me? Do I have a problem?

I'm sure I'll get some nasty replies about this, but: I am an atheist, and fully believe in evolution, which is obviously a far more proven theory than a god creating heaven and Earth. So, why do people believe in god? I went to church when I was younger, and feel that it was pretty worthless. With all of the science out there, how do people believe that god exists? A lot of people that believe in god are just as, if not more immoral that people that don't. Plenty of people that believe in god also cheat on their spouse, lie, steal, etc...

I am stationed overseas and my son is in college in the USA~
My son has a 1995 Explorer 4WD with 170K miles on it. The tranny was shifting improperly, flashing O/D light and was bumping while in gear - long story short, after 4 visits to the shop over a period of 6 months to get the "computer reset", it quit shifting and ended up with a $2300 transmission overhaul and VSS sensor replacement. 3 months after the O/H, the transmission was lurching when coming to a stop at a light. -Tranny under warranty - the lads at the tranny shop "reset the computer" and are telling him that the computer may be failing and it is causing his symptoms, additionally they say this computer could be what caused his tranny to burn up in the first place. My questions are:
- what is this computer
- where is it located
- how much do they cost
- are the tranny lads taking my son (he's bright but not echanically inclined) for a ride?

We have been running an accountancy business on a High Street for 4 years, and have knocked through to the building next door (also a former high street business) and now the council say we have to have a disabled access & toilet (we currently have no wheelchair users as clients mind you)- no problem say we, we will fit one to the sliding doors at the rear of the property, as a ramp on the high street would block the pavement Now they are saying that this "discriminates" against the disabled, because they have to go to the rear, therefore we should CLOSE OFF our lovley high street front door to our newly built reception area and force ALL clients to use the rear wheelchair ramp as our only entrance so as not to upset the hypothetical disabled clients! These buildings have been used as high street business premesis for 40 years, and NONE of the dozens of shops in the street have even one disabled access. Why me? I am fuming, I can't believe it. I'm going to my MP. Your Views?

Why is it that blacks want to be called "African American"? My heritage is European descent, but I don't want to be called "European American". I am an American - end of story. So what I don't understand is are blacks African or American? I am not a racist, just curious. If you want to be treated equal (which you should) why not drop the "African American" and just be an American?

I am starting an MSc this September and then am going straight onto my PhD next September. I will have gone straight through from being 4 to being 26 without a break from education at all! I am regretting not taking a gap year before uni, or a year after my 1st degree. However, I am not one to lament too much. I will have a month or two this time next year, and I want to send it doing some amazing things. I may be in line to be called dr, but I have no life experiences. My life is just study.

I need some ideas, and I want to plan this trip properly so it comes off. I have a feeling that if i don't have this to look forward to I will end up a bitter old woman working in a lab, or a lecturer that hates students! help help help!!!

My bestfriend's ex boyfriend has been gay for about 8 years and said he does not believe in Gay marriage for that very reason. I didn't even come up with a question this good my gay friend did. If you would like to speak to him your self on these views I'll ask him if he would. I thought it was just such a smart argument I had to in a sense steal someone's insight.
