It depends how long you have been doing this for... You should never work out more then 5-6 days a week and should take a full week off every 2 months. I know it's hard, but your body needs time to repair itself. Take a week or two off every once in a while and you will come back stronger and more energized.

If you are injured, you do NOT need to skip a workout...but, you may need to skip the type of workout that affects the injury. There is a big difference.
So, you hurt your leg? Does the elliptical bother it? If not, then do that for your cardio.
If the elliptical does bother you, then just go and lift weights or something, focusing on upper body....arms, abs, chest, shoulders, back, etc.
What about swimming? Will that bother the leg? If not, go for it.
Do I feel guilty about not working out? No, not guilty, but its such a part of my life that I feel....out of sorts or something.

No, it's always fine to take a break whenever you feel like. The body needs rest, especially if it's hurting. There's no need to feel guilty just don't splurge on junk food if u skip a workout.

You're being obsessive to a fault.Working out every single day puts a tremendous stress on your body and becomes counter productive. It sounds more like you're working out for reasons other than health and you're losing focus on what's right.Try working out every other day because the routine that you've detailed is fairly strenuous.Don't feel guilty.Sometimes you just have to listen to your body.

working out too much is the same as not working out at all. everything has its limit to where it can be good and where it can be bad. you are perfectly fine just rest for a while, one day will do no harm. you will feel much better and refreshed when you rest then go back to your daily workout. but then resting too mush is as bad as mot resting at all. confusing huh? i didnt get it until a while back =-)

If it is a injury than you need to skip the portion of the workout, or all of your workouts until the injury has healed.
Are you over-training?
Maybe you need to look at your schedule?

Yes... you have a problem.
Quit punishing yourself and enjoy life. If you don't want to work out, don't. That simple.
