I went to AIU (American Intercontinental Univ) for a BS in info technology. I specifically told them I wanted to be a database programmer.During the program, there was only 1 course covering this and I tried to contact my counselor. Lots of things went wrong while I was there, too many to say here. What it comes down to, is they put me in the only program they had at the time: computer networking, which I'm no good at (though I made all A's during courses). This education didn't give me what they said it would,and now my parents and I are stuck paying $30,000 for nothing. I'm doing the same job I did before I blew money (loans) and time at AIU. Anyone know any ways to go about getting some money back? I've written local problem solvers on TV, as well as the state atty gen, who AIU lied to and said they'd made offers to me (all they offered were 2 free classes!). I know education doesn't guarantee you a job, but it's supposed to give you the tools to be able to do one and they didn't

I was wondering if it would be a good idea to by a refurb video ipod from apple. I have purchased refurbs before (i have no shame about that...they are usually great investments) but i wanted to know if anyone had any problems with theirs.

this one comes directly from Apple. Also, has anyone bought the extended warranty?

my b/f cheated on me before with a friend of his. His roomate's g/f gets really close to him. Wanted him to go into the bedroom and translate what sex moves she wanted her b/f to do becuz her b/f speaks only spanish no english. Shes crosses into his personal space all the time. It seems like every night, as I'm falling asleep, I have the same dream. I am on the phone with this guy that I've liked for a few years now. I really want to tell him that I like him, but when I try he starts talking about this girlfriend he has at school. Then he asks me what I was gunna tell him and I just brush it off and say nothing. I get sad as he continues to tell me of his girlfriend and I feel lonely and then he abruptly says he has to go.

It is no secret that many fundamentalist Christians believe that sexual abstinence is the only acceptable choice for unmarried people. Religious conservatives at the Center for Disease Control (appointed by the Bush administration) are afraid that anything that might lessen the risks of sex might encourage liberal sexual behavior. They have even said that they would seriously consider preventing the distribution of newly-developed vaccines to protect against STDs. Even if we found a vaccine for the HIV virus, they might try to block its use. Is moral opposition to pre-marital sex so important that we should let people die of STDs rather than allow vaccines to be used? Would Jesus refuse to cure people with STDs? I would especially like to hear from conservative Christians and Bush supporters. If you had the power, would you withhold medical technology that could cure STDs?
