Has anyone purchased from Apple Refurbished iPods?

I was wondering if it would be a good idea to by a refurb video ipod from apple. I have purchased refurbs before (i have no shame about that...they are usually great investments) but i wanted to know if anyone had any problems with theirs.

this one comes directly from Apple. Also, has anyone bought the extended warranty?

Yes, I bought from Apple's refurb twice, both times ipod....I never had a problem with mine, and the other was a gift and its still working like new. Definitely get the refurbs....they are great investments and look new since Apple always gives them a new paint job.
