Look you morons, God doesn't give his permission to do anything. He has laid out the rules, and man has to follow them, if not then man is on his own. Hate is from the bad side of man, and killing is a man doing, not god in these days. He doens't have to kill anyone.... man is more than capable of wiping out civilzations very well with out his help. So please leave God out of this Holy War Islam has against the Jewish State of Israel. The State of Israel is responisible for the killing it did and the Hezbollah is responsible for causing Israel to react. So Get off the Soap Box and call a spade a spade. It was very good to hear that the Leader of the Hezbollah tell the world he was wrong to order the kidnapping and killing of Israel soliders in Israel, as he never thought Israel would attack Lebanon because of it. Kudo's to the Hezbollah leader for annoucing he was the one that started this all.

No, God never has given permission of war or killing other men. The only reason I think would be valid for a man to kill another man would be self defense.

Men have and are using the name of God to make the most violent wars out there, where everything is permitted to the victors. That's a travesty for the teaching of God, who wants us to love, or at least tolerate, our neighbors. All religions (at least, Jewish, Christians and Muslims) have used, at one time or another, religion to justify wars. And this three religions have the same origins and roots, which is another reason that makes war more sad.

As far as Israelis are concerned yes..."The Israeli nation has a mission - to bring the moral message of God in the world. We have a more important mission. We have more responsibility because we're better. We're moral side of the world,we're better because we are good, and we have a mission to bring good to the world." (an Israeli soldier)
I guess we all saw how Israel is bringing "the moral message of God in the world"...By killing innocents in Lebanon and Palestine...

If you were really interested in finding this answer, you would have already found it. Everything happens for a reason and is a plan, foretold many centuries ago.. You are only seeing the fulfillment of those prophecies. Certain things have to take place to allow for other events to follow..and they are.. It is not a matter of giving permission..

God gives permission to killing all around the world. Heck, the Pope opposes sending condoms to AIDS-riddled Africa. So, even the Pope is doing it! It's gotta be God's will!

He's omnipotent though, right? He could stop it any time. He's omniscient too, right? So he planned it all along.

Would you worship a God that wanted you to commit murder? I do not believe that we have God's permission to kill. It goes against one of the 10 Commandments, right? Do you see a problem there?

God has given Israel that land to defend. And lately, they have to do a lot of it!!!

The problem is you have these stubborn arabs that believe Jews shouldnt be on their "holy land." They are at worst racist and at their best like the Nazis.

the problem is that both sides think (erroneously) they are serving god by killing each other. this is one example of the sad use of religions for political/economic purposes.
